The BC Play Therapy Association invites families and children are invited to take part in a research project investigating the association between Sensory Processing and Play
This study aims to find out more about how a child’s sensory preferences impact their play interests, participation and enjoyment.
Children aged 8 to 12 years and their families who are based in the Greater Vancouver, BC. area are invited to participate.
The experience of the child is central to this project. The child’s own perspective of their unique play interests and experiences will be gathered through a self-report measure.
All children will receive a token of thanks for their participation, and families will have the option to receive a summary of their child’s results to further their knowledge and understanding of their child’s unique play interests and sensory preferences.
